University of Hartford Courses

Full-time employees may take up to four courses (12 credits) a year tuition-free at the University of Hartford. They must be taken in different semesters and can not include PhD courses. Employees should not take more than one course per semester during Watkinson’s regular academic year. Do not schedule courses that meet on Tuesdays during the school year, as these conflict directly with Watkinson's weekly faculty meetings.

Watkinson School, an independent day school (www.watkinson.org) serving grades 6-12 in greater Hartford, seeks an experienced food service worker. This full time position includes food handling, knife skills, knowledge of food & food borne illnesses, food sanitation and customer service. Applicant should have a strong work ethic & enthusiastic personality.  Hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 4:30PM.  Occasional overtime hours are likely. Industry experience is preferred. We believe that each student is an individual with different learning styles and needs.
