Although Watkinson is a day school, we embrace diversity and welcome international students to our school. We can assist with host family arrangements as well manage the Student & Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). We will also issue the I-20 to students once they have been admitted and enrolled. Students must take the 1-20 to the U.S. Consulate in their native country to apply for the F-1 student visa.

The admissions process is the same for domestic and international students however, for applicants whose first language is not English and may not demonstrate proficiency in oral and written English, the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required. TOEFL test results should be sent directly from the testing agency to Watkinson School (school code: 8050). Photocopies are not accepted.  Watkinson does offer supplemental tutoring support for students who need assistance with speaking, reading and writing English.

$500 Administrative and management processing fee

$1000 Arrangement of Host family fee

International applicants are encouraged to visit our school for an on-campus visit and interview. If you are unable to come for an in-person interview, we will work with you to make other arrangements.
