Sneak a Peak
A picture of all school meeting: on stage, Josh and Kate, leaders of the Student Foundation Committee, detail the beginning of this year’s Thanksgiving dinner drive—a member of each advisory group should pick up a list and a box in the front office; a sixth grader, Jonelle, reminds us about the rocketry competition at lunch; Carla talks about how she thinks we should all clean up the cafeteria better; Sammy gives us this week’s “Did you know?” members of the yoga activity demonstrate five poses, eliciting resounding applause for Tom—who knew he could bend like that?; from their seats, the soccer captains say that yesterday’s game was a loss, but that Grant stopped an incredible 13 shots on goal; three birthdays are announced; and Chris lost his calculator again—but Mr. Riege says he thinks it’s in his room.

It’s Watkinson in microcosm: three times a week, all students, faculty, and administrators are in the amphitheatre, sharing, talking, informing, applauding—the vital spirit of this community in action. See what happened today.
