Bram joins us after successfully completing an apprenticeship with Kent Tritle in New York City where he served as a guest conductor with the New York Symphonic Arts Ensemble. He did his undergraduate work in music at Yale University before earning two master's degrees in composition and conducting from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Missouri at Kansas City, respectively.
He grew up listening to everything from Beethoven to Iron Maiden and also enjoys studying math, architecture and apple orchards! Bram sought out this position at Watkinson, because he is passionate about the concept of student-directed learning.
He is absolutely thrilled to get to know our musicians and begin creating meaningful and beautiful melodies here on campus.
